General FAQs

Client and agents can request specific days and times; otherwise our goal is within 72 hours based on client’s availability.

Underwriting requirements for the medical are updated continuously in the ExamOne Platform and are determined on information submitted in the exam request.

All examiners are equipped, certified and capable of doing EKGs. Male examiners can only do males. Females can do either male or female clients.

All examiners currently on staff have 10 – 30 years of experience and are some of the best in this field.

All examiners are required to follow recommendations for self and client protection under universal precautions and recommendations from the CDC.

Insurance companies vary in their requirements and clients will be instructed on fasting when the appointment is confirmed. Females currently pregnant or clients with diabetes are not required to fast.

At this time all services are provided at the client’s home, office or a location of their preference. WF Paramed operates as a mobile service.

Exam lengths will vary slightly based on requirements and range from 15 minutes for a collection service to 45 minutes for a full paramed exam with EKG. Clients medical history can also effect the length of time.

We assist our agents to get their medicals completed in all 50 states either via an examiner we have or by working with another office in the area. Request process remains the same.

Lab Testing FAQs

For specimens sent to CLIA certified labs, access will be given to a secure report via the lab platform or results will be sent by secure email. All rapid test result will be reported same day directly to the client.

All test have been FDA approved for EUA, sent to a CLIA Certified Lab or CLIA Waived for being tested as highly reliable.

Based on testing requirements we will collect blood, urine, saliva, nasal swab or sputum.
