WF Paramedical Services was created in 2010 to provide convenient mobile and on location services for professionals, individuals and employers in need of paramedical exams, laboratory, wellness and rapid testing. Ensuring that we focus on the needs and priorities of those we serve is our primary goal.
Our staff members are among the best and most experienced in their field with an average of more than 20 years performing these valuable services. We are all committed to exceeding the expectations of our clients and grateful to be able to assist them in reaching their goals.
COVID-19 Information
WF Paramed provides lab-based serum and rapid testing for COVID-19 as well as serum testing for antibodies. All examiners have been vaccinated or are antibody reactive. Appropriate PPE is worn by examiners and it is important to this company that all clients feel comfortable within their homes or businesses and will accommodate special request as possible.
Payment & Insurance Information
At this time, WF Paramedical does not bill insurance. We will provide all clients with a paid invoice that they can submit to their insurance for payment. Payments to WF Paramed can be done via credit card, check, cash, or Venmo.
Meet The Team
Ken Carlson – Owner
Ken Carlson is the Owner of WF Paramedical Services and manages all aspects of the day-to-day operations. He started Well Focused LLC&mdashpWell Focused Paramed’s parent company—in 2010 and began providing exams for insurance agents and supervising wellness screenings for corporations throughout the United States. He is a 20-year veteran of the US Army Medical Department as a Combat Medic, Nurse, Instructor, Master Fitness Trainer and Operations Manager for the Army’s first Wellness Center located at Fort Carson, Colorado. He has held a nursing license for 35 years and has extensive experience in health and wellness. Ken is a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW), the American Legion, and enjoys hiking, playing golf and riding his motorcycle.
Adrienne Carlson – Operations Manager
Adrienne manages the schedule and ensures all required services are requested and completed. Her focus on communication with agents and their clients is an invaluable part of our goal of outstanding customer service. Adrienne ensures paperwork submitted is complete and on time to prevent delays in the underwriting process. She enjoys time with her family and friends, the beach and staying fit.
Donna – Medical Examiner
Donna handles most of the medicals on the northern Front Range and has been performing insurance exams for 27 years. She also has a background as a respiratory therapist and is in very high demand as a paramedical examiner. She consistently demonstrates her reliability and outstanding skills. Donna enjoys meeting new people and having one-on-one interactions with clients getting their life insurance.
Doug – Medical Examiner
Doug covers exams throughout the Front Range and mountain locations. He has been working in Emergency Medical Services (EMS) since 1981 and has been with WF Paramedical Services for 5 years. Doug has served as an independent duty contractor in Afghanistan, Iraq and aboard ships, and he is a highly skilled medical examiner. Doug enjoys photography, playing guitar and cooking. He also has a crazy Blue Heeler who keeps him on his toes.
Joe – Medical Examiner
Joe serves primarily the Denver metro area and is a Critical Care Paramedic with over twenty years of experience. The bulk of his career was spent providing expert, life-saving care as a Certified Flight Paramedic. Joe has shared his expertise with up-and-coming professionals as an Adjunct Professor in Emergency Medical Services education programs in his home state of Florida. Pursuing his passion for humanitarian work and expanding access to expert medical care, Joe has lived and worked on 3 continents providing care to patients in 22 countries.
Noreen – Medical Examiner
Noreen has been a Medical Assistant and Phlebotomist for more than 29 years. She has been consistently lauded for her skill in drawing blood and flawless documentation. She also has vast experience in providing wellness screenings and immunizations for a wide variety of providers in Colorado and other states. One of the most often commented on qualities displayed by Noreen is her infectious smile. She enjoys time with her family and church.
Cherie – Medical Examiner
Cherie has more than 2 years experience and consistently demonstrates proficiency and excellent customer service. She covers the south metro area primarily but also travels along the Front Range as needed. Cherie enjoys time with her family and outdoor activities like kayaking, camping, and mountain biking. She has also written and published a children’s book!
Shunna – Medical Examiner
Shunna covers primarily Colorado Springs and south, and is originally from Louisville, Alabama. She is a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and has over 25 years experience as an Emergency Medical Technician, Medical Assistant and Phlebotomist. She excels in all aspects and has much experience in individual and corporate wellness. Shunna is married to James and together they have 3 wonderful children. She enjoys crafting and creating things as well as baking with her daughter who is turning out to be quite the chef. Shunna has been receiving praise from clients for her positive caring demeanor since her first exam.
Cindi – Medical Examiner
Cindi covers the western and southwestern regions of Colorado and has been in the medical field for more than 40 years. She holds a BS in Biology and Chemistry and has extensive experience as a phlebotomist, a lab technician, a corporate health and wellness screener, and cares for animals as a vet tech. Cindi enjoys riding horses, hiking and cooking.
Secanda – Medical Examiner
Secanda has been a Medical Assistant and Phlebotomist for more than 13 years. She has been performing insurance medicals her entire career and has a reputation for her attention to detail and professionalism. She enjoys time with her family and outdoor activities.
